Without exception, NFJ can only accept athletes from school year 4 and up. If your child is not in year 4, please contact us once they are.
FIRSTLY...
All prospective members must complete and return the Expression of Interest Form below, prior to attending a training session.
Upon receipt of the form, athletes will be invited to a taster session with the appropriate training group.
* Please do not turn up to a training session without prior arrangement *
When and where is training...
Prior to submitting your EoI form, please familiarise yourself with the training times and locations (including site addresses and postcodes) on the Training tab of this website.
What does it cost...
Annual membership to the club costs £60.00 for the first year. This fee includes your club vest/t-shirt, and also includes payment for the first six training sessions at £2.50 each. Membership renewals are £40 including payment for six training sessions at £2.50 each.
Taster sessions are £2.50 (payable by cash on the night). Thereafter, all training sessions are £2.50 per session, pay as you go.
What to expect...
All training sessions are a mix of run, jump and throw. Our aim is for sessions to be high tempo and fun.
What to wear...
Please send your child in sports / PE wear and good trainers, no Astros, football boots or pumps please.
Always send them with a warm hoody and full length leggings/joggers (even if they wear shorts underneath).
Sessions can be inside or outside (often not determined until the night) so always dress for the outside conditions. In the winter this can mean hats, gloves, waterproofs. In the summer, caps and suncream.
What to bring...
ALWAYS send your child with a water bottle and warm hoody.
Finally...
We ask that a responsible adult remain on site during the taster session.
Upon completion of the taster session, please contact the membership secretary to discuss becoming a member.
Upon completion of their membership, all new members are sent our club Welcome Pack containing further information about club procedures and competitions.
