Welcome to New Forest Juniors
New Forest Junior (NFJ) Athletics club is a small, friendly, club catering for all abilities. Our aim is to provide quality coaching and competition to young athletes from school year 4 to year 11, developing athletes to the best of their abilities. We are based at Noadswood School in Dibden Purlieu, in the East of the New Forest, with a small satellite club in the North of the New Forest, based around Hale.
NFJ offer athletes the opportunity of competing in cross-country competitions during the winter months followed by track and field league fixtures during the summer months. We support and develop those athletes wanting to progress to the next level. We also support local schools in their athletic aspirations throughout the school year.
If you would like to give us a try, come along for a free trial session; see below for training times.
On a case by case basis, we will try to support new young athletes. If you are already competing for your school and you wish to commit to the next stage of competing at club level, at either Cross Country, Sports Hall Athletics or Track and Field Athletics, we will do our very best to support you. Please email Rachel Jones (email@example.com) to discuss the options.
There are still vacancies for older athletes (school year 8 and above) but as these groups are also nearing capacity, our coaches are keen to ensure that those joining the club are willing to take part in weekend competitions.
